Purpose

Our Employee Services Representative works in the Human Resource Service Center (HRSC) as part of a dedicated team that provides excellent service via phone, email, and remedy ticket correspondence. The Employee Service Representative is the first point of contact for customer inquiries and will serve customers by completing Human Resources (HR) data transactions and answering policy questions related to payroll and HR. Support HR with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Research and resolve customer inquiries via calls, emails, or remedy tickets.

Maintain SAP HR Data, perform maintenance-related data entry into SAP, and workflow administration.

Sort mail, file, scan, etc. as needed within HRSC and other HR groups.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience required: 1 year experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a inbound call center environment

High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Job Requirements

2-3 years experience preferred: 2 -3 years experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a inbound call center environment

Two-year degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge

Knowledge of the Company’s policies and procedures

Knowledge of SAP, HRIS preferred

Considerable knowledge of subject matter, principles, and concepts of the field

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service skills, ability to deal with the most difficult callers

Problem solving skills

Microsoft Office Suite skills

Advanced research skills

Computer skills

Abilities

Ability to multi-task

Ability to calmly manage complex customer service situations

Ability to prioritize customer service issues and escalate as needed
