We’re changing how people think about health care. We have passion for new ideas that are changing the world by the minute. Cerner has been improving health care IT for more than 30 years. Today, our technology supports health care systems, hospitals and doctor’s offices of all sizes, company clinics, even collegiate and professional athletics. We have clients and offices around the globe. And we’re just getting started.
We believe words matter and that an artfully crafted message can educate, inspire and serve as the voice of a brand. We’re looking for the right individual to join our marketing team – someone who has a gift for written communication and strategy implementation, and a knack for simplifying complex information into inspiring copy.
The Internal Communications Program Coordinator will execute strategies and communications that help Cerner’s associate workforce understand key corporate imperatives. The internal communications team members are Cerner’s internal storytellers, highlighting key elements of our business, culture and workforce for more than 22,000 associates around the world. The small team manages Cerner’s associate communications mediums across all campuses and provides support to stakeholders across the company. You’ll tackle the sometimes technical world of health care, and harness our message to touch people’s hearts and influence the way they think.
Tell and write great stories. At Cerner, we believe health care is too important to stay the same. And we’re doing some cool things to make sure health care is better for us, our children and our parents. It’s your job to understand our industry and business, and spread the word about all that we do.
Be a professional networker. We’re a company of 22,000 associates. You’ll build relationships with Cerner leaders and collaborate with peers to identify and execute story opportunities and understand the business.
Bring a strategy to life . You’ll execute internal communications strategies and project plans and collaborate across Cerner and within a small team.
Create connections for our leaders . You’ll provide assistance to our senior leaders in improving their internal communications and connecting them with our associate base.
Be a part of something that matters. Something that affects every single person, every single day—people’s health and the care they receive. Cerner is transforming health care by developing tools and technologies that make it easier and more efficient for care providers and patients to navigate the complexity of our health.
